Description

Welcome and kia ora to our Serenity Lodge - your home away from home...

Our house is located right on the edge of the beautiful Abel Tasman National Park in the Nelson/Tasman region or as we say: New Zealand's Top of the South. Marahau or the Abel Tasman Village is the only true gateway to the National Park as it is located right on the southern entrance to the park. It is a small community with a big big heart. The entrance to the park and the start of the Abel Tasman Coastal track - one of New Zealand's Great Walks - is only 300m away from our house! Just a stroll away from the widely stretched Sandy Bay beaches, nature, birdlife, kayaking, hiking, sailing adventures, eco-based educational tours, horse riding, sky diving or going out with real Maoris in their modern version of a katamaran kanu and so much more.... everything is possible and just a stone's throw away from Serenity Lodge. If you'd like to book any tours or adventures, please feel free to contact us, we will happily arrange all activities for you and you can enjoy your stay here to the fullest.

We offer three bright and homely double rooms with access to the wide balcony that stretches along the whole house, an open-plan lounge area, well-sheltered alfresco areas for a chat, reading a book or just lying in the shade end enjoying the sea views and a cool drink. Our motto is "AROHA MAI AROHA ATU" which means "LOVE RECEIVED - LOVE GIVEN" and this is what we would like to share with our guests. Our house is open all year round and we are looking forward to welcoming new friends from all over the world!
